Department of Social Protection, Clonmel - Works involved the alteration of the offices on the ground and 2nd floor. This building is an old reconfigured mill on The Quays in Clonmel. During the work the offices were kept live and open to the public. The internal walls and ceilings were demolished and disposed. New walls were created to the new DSP layout. New PSC desk and inter room were created. All existing doors were removed and fire door installed. A complete new ventilation/mechanical and electrical including a comms room were installed. A new public reception desk was fitted on the ground floor. The finishes included new carpet tile floors and a complete redecoration. New suspended ceilings and bulkheads along with plastered ceilings.
